Unique to Endeavour Sailing we have put together a purely practical course that is designed to increase your practical knowledge and experience. It is an ideal stepping stone between competent crew and day skipper.
The First Mate week will move you from a competent crew member to understanding what is required to make you a confident skipper of a small yacht in familar waters. We have many people have done competent crew but have not had the opportunity to develop their skills since then or take charge of a yacht, but would like to do so in a controlled, supervised and relaxed environment before moving on to do Day Skipper. At the end of the course you will be given an Endeavour Sailing Certificate to show what you have achieved, and honest feedback of your abilities, where you have developed and areas you will need to focus on before moving onto your day skipper course.
