Two and half weeks are spent in the classroom teaching navigation, rules of the road, safety and weather. The day courses, VHF + GMDSS and First Aid are held during your stay during module 2 (these are not included in the price as often people already have them). If you join in at module 3 or 4 and do not have these, we can arrange to fit them in.
During the course, we try to make sure every aspect of your time with us is enjoyable, we will give you a list of activities you could try in your spare time along with handy hints and advise. We also allow you to get involved in the day to day running of the boats as mentioned, and promote a team spirit. Team work is one of the most important parts of sailing, and when every one works together it becomes easier and more enjoyable. Life long friendships are built up during your weeks together.
We understand that joining a fast track course is a big commitment, both financially and personally. That is why we have broken it down into modules, this allows you to start and leave at a level suitable to you and also it allows you a week break between modules to visit friends and family, or have them to come out and visit you.
Our commitment to you is to give you a professional, friendly and approachable service, and treat you with respect and part of our team as well. We at Endeavour Sailing will work hard to make your time with us as successful as possible.
