"Come sail with us in the warm sunny climate of Lanzarote"
Canaries Sailing Rally

Canaries Sailing Rally 2013

Please view the link below to give you a flavour of what is on offer for February 2013 (it is 2013 not 2012!)

We plan to enter one or two boats into the rally.  You will sail with a skipper on board and we will be dividing the trip into legs, you may do one leg, two legs, three legs or all four the choice is yours.

This is a unique chance to explore the hidden charms of the Canary Islands, giving you the opportunity to experince landscapes from dramatic lava fields to tranquil woodlands, traditional carnivals, local folk legends and marine reserves and enjoy some winter sun, with a RYA qualified instructor to guide you through giving you tuition on the way, reinforcing old skills or introducing new ones.

This trip will also allow you to build up a few miles whilst offering coastal hops with the chance to practice your passage planning, pilotage as you enter new marinas and also different sail trim aspects, there is also the potential of some cruising shute practice if the wind is kind to us!

The rally departs from Puerto Calero and visits six other islands, where there will be berths, facilities and a cultural programme for each location. Finishing in La Palma where you can celebrate and party.
